Toronto will host five group-stage matches and one Round of 32 knockout match. The 2026 World Cup is the largest in history:
48 nations
104 matches
Hosted jointly by Canada, the United States, and Mexico
Runs from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
Toronto Stadium
BMO Field will be called “Toronto Stadium.” All six Toronto World Cup matches will be played at BMO Field, located at Exhibition Place on Toronto's waterfront. During the tournament, FIFA will temporarily refer to it as "Toronto Stadium" because FIFA does not use commercial venue names during the World Cup. BMO Field has been temporarily expanded from about 30,000 seats to approximately 45,700 seats for the World Cup.

The Dates - Toronto's matches are scheduled for:
(June 12) Canada vs. Bosnia & Herzegovina
(June 17) Ghana vs. Panama
(June 20) Germany vs. Côte d'Ivoire
(June 23) Panama vs. Croatia
(June 26) Senegal vs. Iraq
(July 2) Round of 32 knockout game.
Getting There - Union Station to BMO Field: about 4 km
GO Train: One stop to Exhibition GO, then a 5-minute walk.
Walking: approximately 45 minutes along the waterfront route.
Liberty Village sits immediately North of the BMO Field. For six days, Liberty Village won't just be a Toronto neighbourhood; it will be one of the gateways to the FIFA World Cup. While residents should prepare for road restrictions and crowds, local businesses are getting ready to welcome fans from around the globe.
Fan Festival at “The Bentway” - A space, once considered a Toronto no-man’s-land is about to become a World Cup Star. The Bentway, an area under the Gardiner Expressway between Strachan Avenue and Fort York Boulevard, will help host the FIFA Fan Festival, along with Fort York, which will welcome 20,000 people a day.
Ticket Tip - Ontario has a unique rule for Toronto matches: tickets resold through FIFA's official marketplace can only be resold at face value, helping protect fans from excessive resale prices.
